Live BAD Litho Poster Printing & Studio Tour.
Grey Hand Press is a fine art hand-printmaking studio specialising in stone and plate lithography, intaglio, and related techniques. For this event we will bring out approaches you really don’t see in traditional litho printing to make a suite of unique posters commemorating BAD 2023.
From 10am – 2pm, GHP printers and interns will print live in the pressroom while offering tours of the studio and its process. Shifting focus from 2 – 5pm, selections of GHP publications and collaborators will be displayed along with the ephemera of their making.
The afternoon aligns with a 3 – 5pm open house at neighbouring Art from the Urban Wilderness of Hive Studios, so we encourage you to wander between venues!
