Harwood’s paintings explore the sensation of a brain in flux between chaos and order, using mathematical geometry to evoke emotive responses. He will discuss his approach to the hard-edge/op art painting movement, drawing attention to the relationship of forms and structures, size, positioning, and space, to create a sense of balance and proportion.
