‘Mirror Mine’ looks at mining through the work of Brisbane artist, Caitlin Franzmann, and internationally-renowned filmmaker and artist Ben Russell. As part of the exhibition, Outer Space presents an evening screening of short films exploring the narratives around the politics of mining, curated by John Edmond and Caitlin Franzmann.
‘Mineral Contact’ presents two films by Arthur Cantrill and Corinne Cantrill focusing on North Stradbroke as well as a commissioned work from the critical human geographies researcher-artist Amelia Hine—each marking on the point of contact between the natural and social world.
