Distinct Perspectives: The Work of Joe Furlonger and William Yaxley

Bruce Heiser Projects presents a diverse exhibition of new works by respected Queensland landscapist Joe Furlonger and senior naïve artist William Yaxley.

Joe will be showing paintings, works on paper and ceramics that concentrate on his beloved area of Samford Valley, North West of Brisbane CBD. These will be accompanied by paintings featuring Brisbane’s spectacular Moreton Bay. William’s new paintings will feature Lamb Island, one of the many small islands that dot Moreton Bay. Travelling between his Tasmanian studio and his island studio, the artist’s new series focuses on the island, its surrounds, and island life.
