Join us at Griffith University Art Museum for Life Drawing for Animation with Dr Leila Honari!
This life drawing setting gives participants opportunities to study the human form and anatomy in real time, with attention to nuances in movement, posture and gesture. As animation strives to imitate, and recreate life, life drawing is a tool that challenges the artist to be diligent in observation, intentional in lines drawn and expressive in communicating ideas. This life drawing workshop with Dr. Leila Honari will introduce the life drawing with key fundamentals of drawing for the moving image.
Attendees will be walked through exercises common in the life drawing studio as well as some drawing practices that challenge the artist to think sequentially about their drawings.
All materials and refreshments are included; however, participants are welcome to bring their own drawing media.
All experience levels welcome!
