Lara Merrett: Flip side

Jan Murphy Gallery will present a suite of new works by artist Lara Merrett, who is widely admired for her large-scale works. The artist produces richly layered expanses of colour and form, using a specific pouring technique and water-based materials, such as ink and acrylic paint. She has exhibited extensively nationally and has undertaken projects internationally, with works held in numerous private and public collections, including the University of New South Wales, Artbank, Macquarie Bank, Sofitel Hotel and UBS. In 2018, Lara was selected by the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) for their annual Bella Room Commission.
