From Life : Brisbane Light

Maureen Hansen is an award-winning artist who lives and works in Brisbane. She captures colourful observations of life in Queensland, including the iconic Queenslander house, familiar landscapes, the sky and local snapshots from the ‘streets of our town’. Inspired by nature and the colours of nature, Maureen observes subjects for hours in an attempt to interpret nature in the most honest way she can, presenting a unique perspective. In her latest exhibition, ‘From Life : Brisbane Light’, Maureen captures the feeling of change in Brisbane City.
