Experimental sound experience, exhibition opening and live performance at Little Street Studio.

LIGHT WORKERS is an experimental sound and light activation curated by The Third Quarter and presented at Little Street Studio. It encompasses a physical exhibition and light activation by Jay Jermyn, with sound experiences facilitated by ENTER and VEOPLE.

Jay Jermyn is a Gold Coast-based multidisciplinary artist, designer and musician who explores the intersection of the digital and the physical, identity and emotion, as well as notions of self through his installation and performance work. Jay presents a new body of work LIGHT WORKERS, which brings together wall-based works, projection mapping and constructions/sculptures. LIGHT WORKERS propose and value a user-centric experience of the fragmented boundary between natural and virtual spaces.

ENTER SELF is a suspended fabric installation and sonic responses by Nadeem Tiafau Eshraghi. Offering space to pause gently and explore deeper internal states, it’s an introspective prescription, soundtracked with textural walls of found sound, field recordings and music

VEOPLE is an experiential sound collaboration between Jay Jermyn and Julian Currie, who create in the space between tension and release through textural melody, house-oriented rhythms and electronic production. As part of LIGHT WORKERS, VEOPLE will release their new single in the format of an immersive live performance.

Little Street Studio Light Workers is a 2 day experimental sound and light activation curated by The Third Quarter and presented at Little Street Studio.
