85 Pearson Street,
Potluck is a solo exhibition by Louis Lim, an Australia-based photographer whose work explores diversity in human conditions, specifically those that are under-represented in mainstream media. With a keen interest in light, Louis’ practice focuses on non-fictional visual storytelling and conceptual photographic portraits with a collaborative methodology. Potluck exemplifies cultural diversity in Brisbane by documenting its communities’ dining habits: some feast at a table, some eat on the floor, and others dine in front of the cold light of a computer screen.
Join the artist for a shared meal at the exhibition opening on Friday 17 May, from 6-9 PM.
