Situated between office buildings, watering holes and hidden behind concrete slabs, Visible Ink is one of Brisbane’s most valued creative spaces for young people. For the first time, Visible Ink will be opening its doors to give everyone a chance to go behind the scenes and share in a sneak peek of what it means to be a young creative in Brisbane.
This open studio will give visitors an opportunity to meet young and emerging artists, view their work and interact with our artists by creating a community-developed piece. There will also be three snapshot discussions ‘Collaboration: the How and the Why’, ‘Women in Creative Industries’, and ‘Valuing your Worth as an Emerging Artist’ during the Open Studio.
