More Details

Bluehouse Porcelain is a ceramic studio based in a 50s blue house with a terracotta roof in the leafy Brisbane suburb of Bardon. Taking inspiration from the surrounding environment, Bluehouse specialises in decorative tableware made entirely by hand. From teacups and saucers, to bowls and platters, each piece is thoughtfully designed to be both functional and beautiful.

Bluehouse is owned and run by artist, Simon Suckling. Simon throws works on the potter’s wheel using the finest Australian porcelain clay, before hand decorating and finishing with the Blue House signature 12 karat gold lustre.

Bluehouse places value on the design, selection of materials and quality of craftsmanship to create tableware that will last for years to come. There is nothing quite the same as serving food on handmade tableware to share with family and friends.
