CONTRA is an independent clothing boutique with over a decade of experience in event creation, travel and the world of streetwear. Encouraged by the talented new generation of Brisbane youth, CONTRA was established to contribute to the city’s growth.

With a focus on finding emerging and independent designers, our standards require a high level of execution in concept and quality. Our ethos is to “spend more on less”, something that encourages a culture of considered consumption and valuing craft.

A community focus drives continuous work with local creatives in all fields, including photographers, stylists, make up artists, model, musicians and visual artists.
