Fortunes of the Forest is an intimate one-to-one encounter between an individual and Caitlin Franzmann, and is guided by a deck of divination cards created by the artist during her residency in Karawatha Forest, Brisbane.
Each divination card depicts an image of a plant, rock or insect from the forest (photographed by Man Cheung), and is a celebration of these beings with whom we share primeval genes. Selecting one card, participants will receive a divination reading that weaves together ethnobotanical, biological and spiritual stories to produce something magical and medicinal that is unique to each visitor. Book early to avoid disappointment. Limited capacity. Each session is 20 minutes. Meet at the Botanica information point.
